About Renka
Hello—I’m the person behind Renka.store. Getting started is never easy, but this is where my journey began.
I graduated in Fashion Design from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD), Lakewood, Colorado. I’ve always loved fashion, freedom, road trips, photography—and especially printing my own travel photos on tees. That habit became the seed that grew into Renka. From student days to being a dad, the passion never faded.
I wanted a path outside office walls, so I worked as a fashion designer, pattern designer, stylist, and POD designer—to learn the craft deeply and prepare to start my own business. That work helped me support my family, manage my own schedule, and build something meaningful.
With savings (and some loans), I opened a small print-and-sew POD studio. On August 16, 2016, I set up a compact workshop with the machines and tools I needed—and a storefront so people could find me. I named the brand Renka. I didn’t expect such strong support: customers brought family photos, memorable images, and personal ideas for me to design and print. As one of the first shops of its kind in my area, the store was busy for years.
By 2023, challenges arrived. Foot traffic dropped as online shopping took over. Customers realized they could select shirt styles/colors on a phone, send images, and get doorstep delivery—no trip required. In 2024, I studied website operations, e-commerce, carrier options, and compliance. In 2025, I transitioned fully to online sales at Renka.store.
Today, I sell original designs I create—styles loved by younger audiences—and I’m rolling out custom printing next. Everything I make reflects my commitment to design, print quality, and fit.
